My ideal day:
I'd wake up after a good night's sleep in my owners bed, then we'd go outside to do our business (or for me to, anyway) and would then come in and cuddle. I'd do some tricks for treats around mid-day, watch some TV, and take an evening swim in the baby pool before I settled in for the night

My Story:
Don't ask us how it happened - we have no idea, either. But it seems that a pit bull and a basset hound 'got together', resulting in this extremely adorable and head-turning little guy. Better not tell the greedy puppymillers or next thing you know, we'll be seeing designer "basset-bulls" everywhere!
Sgt. Pepper seems to have inherited the best of both worlds -he's the perfect size for a smaller home or lap, yet he has the tenacity and fun-loving nature of our beloved bullies. He wiggles, runs, plays, and loves. And yes, like a typical bulldogge, he can be a little pushy with his lovin'!
Though he landed in a high-kill shelter, Sgt. Pepper was probably a housepet once before - he never soils his kennel and asks to be let outside, he knows commands such as "kennel", "sit', and "stay", and he adores playing with his toys. He's not so good with other pets, however, and needs to be the only 4-legged kid in his new home so he can have all of the attention for himself.
All this adorable, itty bitty bully-hound needs is for someone to recognize how unique and beautiful he is, inside and out and take him home!
Note: Sgt.Pepper is being fostered by another rescue organization located approximately 3 hours from Kansas City. Meetings can be arranged once application is approved.
