My Story:

Mercy is an exuberant and loving girl. After 2 1/2 years waiting for her cruelty case to close she is free. That is 2 1/2 years, almost her entire life, sitting in the shelter. Freedom is not an idea lost on her in the least. The whole world is new and exciting and she loves to smell and taste every bit of it. She's so grateful and shows this through amazing amounts of kisses and hugs. All the while she's dancing like there's no tomorrow. She's an absolute inspiration. She's so amazingly happy and forgiving in spite of everything she's endured at the hands of her previous owner, and her very long wait to find her place in the world.

Mercy walks great on leash, her biggest joy is being by your side. She LOVES to wrestle with her foster brother and give kisses to her mom, who she happens to be fostered with. She is also living with cats and two birds that she does great with. Treats are like ambrosia and she is excited by every new toy she gets. Stairs were a little scary at first but she conquered them quickly and now is up and down in a flash. I'm certain she can take just about any challenge and overcome it. She has the most adorable bowl legs which gives her great wiggle when she's walking, and a smile that will melt your heart. When it's bed time she's outside her crate ready to go fuel back up for whatever tomorrow brings. Every morning she's ready to discover something new and approaches it like an adventure. She is truly an ambassador and the family that gives her her forever home will be the luckiest family around.
