My Story:
Marvel was rescued from the Coffeyville, Kansas flood and oil spill.

Marvel is...MARVELOUS! This adorable sweetheart was definitely someone's pet. She has excellent manners and is perfectly house trained. She has shown to be very eager to please and adores everyone she meets. The feeling is likewise from the people who meet her. She's very special and we are so glad to have her in our program.

Marvel is in foster care and she is doing great. She is fostered with several other dogs and adores all of them. This girl is such a wonderful gal!!

Nicknames: Mama Dog, Divine Miss M

Note from Marvel:

What a whirlwind life I’ve had. It hasn’t always been easy, but things are looking better! I can’t really tell you much about my life before I joined this program. I was a victim of the Coffeyville, KS flood and oil spill. Once I found out that the Humane Society was sending me to Kansas City, all I could think of was that song “Goin’ to Kansas City~Kansas City here I come…” A couple of my friends came up here with me. One got adopted, and Dora is in foster care too. When I was spayed, they said it looked like I might have had a litter or two in the past. Maybe that’s why I have such a nurturing spirit. I even like cats! So far, I’ve gotten along with every animal I’ve met.

My foster mom has dragged me along to several adoption events. It’s kind of embarrassing to be sitting there on display, just having folks walk by and talk about you. I don’t really look like what a lot of people think a Pit Bull looks like. “Ooh, did you see the vicious Pit Bull with the speckled socks-haha! I’ve put on a little weight since I’ve been here too. All that good food-yum! I think I’m developing middle age spread, before I’ve reached middle age-haha! As you can see, I’m very happy and go lucky. I’m looking for someone that wants a well mannered, eager to please dog that will run and play with them, then snuggle to watch TV.

Now that you know a little about me, please consider adding me to your family!

Hugs n Kisses
