My three most favorite things are: food (ANY kind), snuggling real close, and riding in the car!

Pet Peeves:
When my furry foster brother barks at people outside; it drives me crazy. Cause then I want to bark too and my foster mommy and daddy don’t like that very much.

My ideal day:
I love to sleep. So sleeping and snuggling in a bed with my humans, eating breakfast, and laying on the couch and snuggling some more sounds pretty good. I really love playing outside too!! So playing outside with toys and my human family would be so much fun. I am really pretty easy going and would just love doing whatever my human family wants to do!

My Story:

Kiaya has had a difficult start in life. The poor girl came into rescue completely starved and nothing but skin and bones. She was shy and didn't really know what it was like to be loved. We don't think anyone had ever treated her with kindness before.

Kiaya is now in foster care where she is learning all about love. She is soaking it up! She is a shadow to her new foster mom and dad; she won’t let them out of her sight. It is obvious she can't believe her good luck. It is very touching to watch this young girl blossom and to realize there are good people out there who truly do love her unconditionally. We think this is probably the first time in her life that Kiaya has ever been wanted.

She is crate trained and is learning good house manners. She knows some basic commands and walks well on a leash. Kiaya is a very responsive girl and is extremely eager to please. We'll continue to shower her with love and affection until she has a family of her very own. We imagine that to Kiaya the idea of a family of her own, that will love her unconditionally, is just a far off dream. We can't wait for you to make that dream a reality for her!
