Nicknames: Elmy, Elmy bo belmy, Elmster

Pet Peeves: Needles and vampires!

Interests: Learning new things! Being loved on! Learning what it means to be a family member!

Ideal Day: Wake up in a bed (or at least a doggy bed), go for a walk, hang out with my human(s), play some fetch, eat, go to bed and do it all over again!

My Story: I was a blood donor dog at a vet clinic in Arkansas for 18 months. I was exposed to every illness and disease that came into the clinic to boost the antigens and antibodies in my blood. I am told that I am a hero because I have saved quite a few lives by giving my blood to those in need. I never once got mad about it, even though it made me tired and weak. However I am ready to go to my forever home where I will never have my blood sucked by a vampire again.

My foster dad has taught me so much about life, you see I had been at the clinic since I was about 2 months old and all I knew about life was a 3’ x 8’ kennel run. I didn’t know there were such things as beds, couches, air conditioning, heat, fetch and many, many more things. I am a little skittish around new things that I haven’t seen or heard before, but with some assurance, I do just fine. Will you show me what I have been missing and give me a forever home???

About Me: I am a very happy boy, I wag my tail so hard my whole body shakes. I love life and so desperately want to find my forever home and experience all that life has to offer. Do I have to ask again? Will you please give me a forever home?
