If you look the word “Survivor” up in the dictionary, you are sure to find Buster’s picture.

Buster’s foster mom found him on the side of the road. She wasn’t prepared for what she was about to see. Cars rushed past the dog who was in severe need of help. “What I saw was shocking. This poor little guy was skin and bones and was surely going to die if he didn’t get immediate help.”

Gina rushed Buster to the vet. There, they determined that Buster had been eating dead animals to merely survive. “They found a soft-ball size mass of bones in his intestines,” said Gina. “They weren’t quite sure if Buster was going to live.”

Through this horrible ordeal, Buster gave licks and kisses to the people caring for him. “How could someone have done this to such a sweet dog like Buster?” asked Gina. “We owed it to him to show him love and kindness he obviously had never been given.”

Buster made a miraculous recovery and we are happy to report that he will live a long and healthy life. In fact, he is ready to snuggle right up next to you and be your constant companion.

Right now, Buster is living in a wonderful foster home who is teaching about the world around him. He lives with his foster brother, Mr. Peeps. Buster also lives in harmony with cats in his foster home.

Buster passed his temperament test with flying colors. The trainer and his foster mom agree that he should go to a home with a submissive female dog or cats who are used to dogs. Buster would also love being an “only” dog. He will need to be placed in a home with children over the age of 12. Because of Buster’s rough start in life, he will need someone to be patient with him and continue to teach him about all of the positive things life has to offer.

All Buster wants is a home where he can hang out with you on the couch and to be your best friend. You don’t want to miss out on this opportunity to make Buster a part of your family!

Buster just started a "Mainly Manners Class" for obedience work and we are confident he's going to do great in it!
