My Story:
This is a wonderful girl recently saved from euthanasia from a very full shelter. She is a Scottish Deerhound and Greyhound cross around 2 years old.

She does very well on leash, is a leaner, adores people, rides beautifully in the car, and everyone is totally in love with her already. She met a cat and didn't see too preoccupied with it (but that's not to say that a stray running cat would not prompt her to chase!). Her coat is more like a deerhound's, longer and somewhat wiry, multi-colored (peppered black, white/silver and some copper undertones). She is young but has the grizzling around her muzzle, but it gives her character! She is going to make a wonderful companion.

She is a lap dog, too, so I think she will enjoy taking full advantage of a couch in a new home. Such a gentle and kind girl deserves a place of her own! Please email with questions. A fenced-in yard is required.

Update- Our Blueberry girl has lost her tail....She had an open wound on the tip that she would not leave alone despite us going to great lengths to treat it. She must have done some damage to more of the tail before coming to us, as she didn't quite hold it correctly either- the vet thought it would be better to remove the whole thing believing that another injury would likely occur again at a later date. Thankfully, we had the spay done at the same time to limit the trauma. She has been nothing short of wonderful during all this. I believe this makes her even more special
