Nicknames: Annimals, Anner Banner

Interests: being loved, playing with humans and other big dogs, going for walks and/or runs, playing in the water hose.

Pet Peves: squirrels, moles, being left for dead at Quick Trips with a tummy full of puppies

My story: Hi everyone, I’m Little Orphan Annie! My previous owner(s) apparently did not want to deal with me and my puppies so they decided to take matters into their own hands and dump me at a metro area Quick Trip gas station. I’m sure it sounded like a good plan to them at the time… I had been spotted wandering down there for close to a week before a good samaritan noticed I had either just given birth or was about to burst so he whistled for me while he was pumping gas and I hopped right in his car. It was pretty cool in there, air conditioning and lots of little kids in the backseat to wag my happy tail at! The good samaratin contacted the vet’s office and they took me in for the night until they could decide what to do with me. Well, all I needed was a comfy, safe spot, a good meal and I was ready to give birth. By the time the vet tech checked in on me the next morning, I had already started to deliver my litter of 11 puppies! O f course the vet tech freaked and called my foster daddy who is a volunteer with MABBR and he waited until I was done delivering 8 boys and 3 girls and he and my foster mommy loaded us up and took us to our current foster home. Everyone keeps bragging about what a great mommy I am. Even though I was scared and starving, I let everyone help me with my puppies. Not once did I get fussy when all those strangers were picking up my puppies and moving them around.

All my puppies are finding their forever homes and now that they are leaving, I too am looking for my forever home. I am a fun loving girl, full of life and happiness. I love going on walks and runs and kids are pretty cool too. Although I haven’t been around cats, I’m pretty sure I’d do better without them since squirrels and those pesky moles drive me insane!! I’m learning to work on my manners. Apparently the same people who thought it would be a great idea to dump me at a gas station thought it was an equally as good idea to leave me on a chain all the time to raise myself. Did I mention I’m house broken?!?!?! Just another perk to making me the latest addition to your loving home!

Hope to meet you soon,

Annie
