About Us

KPR

Kansas Pit Bull Rescue was founded by two volunteers from Kansas. Faced daily with dozens of needy Pit Bulls that had to be turned away for lack of space and funding, we came to realize that maybe we could help a few more dogs locally by trying to gain them attention or sponsorship before their time runs out in a shelter. Thus became KPR. Over the years with significant help from our supporters and donors KPR has placed over a hundred needy Pit Bulls into responsible forever homes.

MABBR

As time went on we have grown as we met more people who shared our mission and goals to save needy Pit Bulls and other dogs in our areas. KPR is now expanding our mission even further and has become Mid-America Bully Breed Rescue.

With the support of our donors and hard work and dedication of our volunteers, we believe that MABBR will have a tremendous impact on the Bully Breed dogs in the midwest. Our mission is to responsibly place abandoned Incredi-Bulls into forever homes, promote responsible dog ownership, fight Breed Specific Legislation, and to educate the public on the importance of Spay and Neuter.

MABBR has joined forces with several other non-profit groups in our areas that support our common goals and beliefs. Together we expect to be able to more effectively raise awareness on the issues.

We have high expectations and goals - because we know in our hearts - Bulldogs deserve better!
